Premier League Week 18 Match Predictions

Premier League Game Week 18 Preview

We are almost at the half way point of 2018/19 and the fixtures continue to come thick and fast. Here's a look at some of the most eye catching clashes from week eighteen of the Premier League.

Arsenal v Burnley
Unai Emery and Arsenal's twenty-two match unbeaten run came to an end at Southampton last weekend. The Gunners will want to reignite another run when Burnley visit the Emirates on Saturday. The home side will be massive favourites, but must also be wary of a Burnley side who have shown signs of rejuvenation in recent weeks. Prediction 2-0

Chelsea v Leicester City
Chelsea will be keen to keep up their strong form this season as they play host to Claude Puel's Leicester on Saturday. Barring a few blips, Sarri's men have been excellent and should have too much for a stuttering foxes side. Puel has lost his last two games and could well face three in a row after their ninety minutes in West London. Prediction 2-1

Huddersfield v Southampton
The person definition of a relegation six pointer if there ever was one. Huddersfield will be wary of a revitalised Southampton side, fresh from their victory over Arsenal. They'll look to continue the new manager bounce in West Yorkshire and on paper, they have more goals and quality than David Wagner's struggling Terriers. Prediction 0-2

Newcastle v Fulham
This is a massive game for both teams, and it could ultimately define their seasons. If Fulham can snatch a win, they will have genuine cause for optimism in their relegation fight. If Newcastle win, they could give themselves significant breathing room in 14th place. Ranieri is yet to show any improvement in his new club's abysmal defensive record and that could hurt them yet again on the road this season. Prediction 3-2

Cardiff v Manchester United
The seige towers are closing in around Jose Mourinho and Old Trafford. Their desperately poor performance at Anfield saw them loose more ground and suffer another painful defeat. They'll need a win in Wales for morale, if nothing else. Cardiff are struggling, but showing plenty of fight and should view a genuinely poor defensive record from their visitors, as an opportunity. United should have far too much for them though. Prediction 1-3
