Diamond Sportsbook first started taking bets as far back as 1991, A time when online sports betting was still quite a few years off. In the early 90's placing bets was done by phone, with BetDSI operating through agents as an offshore bookmaker. In 1998, betDSI set itself up for doing business online but started to struggle with a bad reputation soon after launching its first online sportsbook.
Over the years DSI has operated under a number of aliases including DSI Diamond Sportsbook, and 2BetDSI. The corporation holding the reigns was Aracosia de Oriente, S.A, the Spanish legal name of the company founded in 1996 - two years before opening their first online sportsbook - and their legal identity in Costa Rica.
Currently, BetDSI operates similarly to Bookmaker.eu, which enjoys a reputation as one of the most trusted and reputable online gambling sites and sportsbooks since internet gambling became a thing. However, while the two sites bear lots of similarities, there are a few differences worth highlighting which we will discuss below.
The first thing to note is that the cashier and payouts between the two sites operate the same.
BetDSI has been offering offshore bookmaking and sportsbook services for more than a couple of decades now, so let's take a look at what they offer.
BetDSI operates with a standard offer which you will see repeated on many other betting sites, namely a 100% bonus on the amount deposited, split 50/50 between the sportsbook and the casino. The maximum bonus is $500 for each section. A $1,000 deposit will net you $500 in the sportsbook, and another $500 in the casino, for a total bonus of $1,000. The rollover for the sportsbook is 10x, while the casino employs a 40x rollover. This offer works well for most players, but if you are a high-roller, we're willing to bet that BetDSI will add a little more incentive to the table.
On NFL gameday, professional bettors can get a maximum of $50,000 down on a bet, but for the rest of the week, the limit is $10,000. However, betDSI does offer a limit of $20,000 for NFL totals and Moneyline bets.
NBA, college football, and MLB all have a limit of $10,000, but it bears mentioning that this amount is a lot more than other sites will allow.
Options for Deposits
You will be hard-pressed to find a site which takes larger amounts for deposits than betDSI. Bettors have many deposit options including bank wires, cryptocurrency, cashiers checks, and money orders, with an initial deposit limit of $50,000.
If you operate in cryptocurrency, the best way to get funds into betDSI is via Bitcoin, but at a minimum amount of $25, and going up to $5,000 for the maximum deposit limit, crypto bank wire limits are a lot lower than the other deposit methods.
Withdrawals and Payouts
BetDSI has a solid reputation for making it easy for bettors to get access to their winnings. A minimum payout is $100, and Bitcoin requests over $300 are fee free. Person-to-person transactions and Bitcoin withdrawals are available for small takeouts. Maximum Bitcoin withdrawals are $5,000, but you can spread withdrawals over the week for a maximum of $25,000.
